Mongolians have worshipped and appeased Heaven, Earth, the Sun and the Moon through rituals for many centuries. Among these, they have considered the autumn moon as the moon of blessings, fortune, and prosperity. Therefore, on the full moon of the 15th day of mid-autumn month, it is a tradition to hold the Great Fire Ritual. The Imperial Sky Samgaldai Center members have continuously conducted the “Blue Flame” fire ritual for twelve years without interruption. This ritual will be held on 2025.10.07 at Altan Khundagany Tal, Darkhan soum, Darkhan-Uul province.

Using blue argal (dried dung fuel), 7 shamans of Samgaldai Center will simultaneously worship the fire, praying for the assigned people, spreading great spirits’ blessings, purifying and removing defilements
