Are you looking for a tour that includes must-see destinations in Mongolia?
Then this tour is designed just for you. Options available throughout the day. We can assure you this will be one of the must-see destinations in Mongolia.
There’s no need to even mention dinosaur fossils—there are museums dedicated to Mongolians, animals, and history. The Genghis Khan Museum, shaped like a giant silver yurt, houses an enormous collection showcasing Genghis Khan’s life and legacy. Its standout feature is a massive statue of the great conqueror on horseback, surrounded by multimedia screens.
Zaisan Hill is one of the best places for panoramic photography.
Then it’s time to head to one of the most in-demand destinations—the Gobi region. Famous for its unique and changing natural formations as you drive from vast steppe to golden sand dunes, the flaming cliffs of Bayanzag, and the spectacular Yol Valley filled with rare wildlife.
First, the Yol Valley. A geological masterpiece nestled among stunning cliffs. Despite its nickname “vulture” in Mongolian, Yol is far from desolate. In winter, it becomes a wonderland covered in ice, while in summer, it reveals lush green oases in stark contrast to the surrounding dry Gobi landscape.
Next, we travel to Bayanzag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs. This landscape glows in red and orange and is not only visually stunning but historically significant. In the 1920s, the first fossilized dinosaur eggs were discovered here, opening a window into Mongolia’s ancient past and making Bayanzag a central point in paleontological discoveries.
The third and final wonder of the Gobi is the wide and golden Khongor Sand Dunes, known as the “Singing Dunes.” These dunes are not only visually striking but also demonstrate a unique acoustic phenomenon. When wind whispers through the grains, it produces a melodic hum, creating a natural symphony in the silence of the desert.
Once the powerful capital of the Mongol Empire—Karakorum. The once nomadic Mongols decided to settle and build a city. Visit the Karakorum Museum and Erdene Zuu Monastery, which remains active even after communist purges.
