On the designated arrival day, our guide and driver will meet you at the airport with a sign. Transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, fly from Ulaanbaatar to Murun, Khuvsgul Province. Lunch at a roadside restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay in Murun
Early morning breakfast at the hotel and depart by vehicle to Tsagaannuur soum. The journey continues a rough dirt road for 8–9 hours to a remote host family’s place where the car will be left.

From Tsagaannuur soum, we will travel on horseback from Kharmain River to the western taiga. Early departure to the area where the reindeer are located. Lunch en route and arrival at the Tsaatan host family in the evening. Dinner will be served at the Tsaatan household. Accommodation will be in the urts, the traditional dwelling of the Tsaatan.
This day will be spent getting to know the life of the Tsaatan family. You will see and learn many new things by asking questions and observing. As the migration will begin early the next day, the rest of the day will be spent preparing for it. Meals will be made and eaten in the urts.
The Tsaatan people will gather their reindeer early, pack up their dwellings, ride and herd the reindeer, and migrate from summer pasture to autumn camp. You will accompany this event, creating unforgettable memories. Overnight stay in the wild taiga, far from civilization.
Since reindeer go to pasture very early, you will wake at dawn, gather the animals, pack up, and move onward. By dusk, you will reach the autumn pasture, set up camp, and sleep there.
You will settle into the new pasture, organize the dwelling and live in a new environment. Surrounded by rich pasture and plants suitable for reindeer, the day will be pleasant and fulfilling. In the evening, over dinner, stories of the reindeer migration will be shared. Preparation for the return journey begins the next morning.
As the distance back is long, an early departure is required. Lunch en route. Arrival at the location where the vehicles are parked in the evening.
Travel by car from Tsagaannuur soum to Murun town. Overnight stay in a guesthouse in Murun
After breakfast at the guesthouse, return to Ulaanbaatar by vehicle. Lunch at a roadside restaurant. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the evening and check in at the hotel.
