Travel Itinerary

Day 1Ulaanbaatar – Hotel Stay

Regardless of which country or what time travellers arrive in Ulaanbaatar, they will rest and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 2Ulaanbaatar – Bayanbaraat – 170 km

Departing from Ulaanbaatar, we travel to the brown steppe of Borjigon and perform a shamanic ritual at Bayanbaraat Mountain in Tuv Province.

Day 3Bayanbaraat – Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Delger Mountain – 100 km

We travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu and Delger Mountain in Delgerkhangai soum of Dundgovi Province and perform a ritual.

Delger – Tsagaan Suvarga – 460 km
We continue to Tsagaan Suvarga, a naturally stunning place located in Ulziit soum of Dundgovi Province, to perform another ritual.

Day 4Tsagaan Suvarga – Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountains – 150 km

It is said that Batmunkh Dayan Khan, the great Khalkh ruler, divided Khalkh territory into seven parts for his seven sons. We will visit Batmunkh Dayan Khan’s statue in Dalanzadgad, capital of Umnugovi Province, then continue to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountains to perform a ritual.

Day 5Gobi Gurvan Saikhan – Tost Toson Bumba – 330 km

We enter the vast region of Mongolia’s 33 gobi’s and perform a ritual in the land of the Khalkh’s Spirit King, who is believed to rule over the territory of the Great Olgoi-Khorkhoi (giant death worm).

Day 6Tost Toson Bumba – Khatan Suudal – 180 km

According to legend, during one of his military campaigns, Chinggis Khaan passed through this region. His queen gave birth here, and the placenta turned into a mountain. Out of reverence, people called it Khatan Suudal (Queen’s Seat). This place is considered one of the three most sacred gobi’s, and we will summon the spirit of the ruling deity of Bayangiin Gobi for a ritual.

Day 7Khatan Suudal – Kharkhorin – Erdene Zuu Monastery – 500 km

Travel to Kharkhorin and visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery.

Day 8Returning Home

In 1580, Abatai Sain Khan, together with his brother Tumenkhan , met the Third Dalai Lama and promised to establish a monastery in their homeland. On the Dalai Lama’s advice, they restored an old temple site in Kharkhorum. In 1585, they completed the reconstruction at the ancient city of Takhai Balgas, which is now known as the central Zuu Temple of Erdene Zuu Monastery. This is recorded in the manuscript biography of Undur Gegeen.

Day 9Elsen Tasarkhai – Ulaanbaatar – 300 km

From the resort at Khugnu Khan Mountain, we visit Khustai Nuruu to see the wild Takhi horses, then continue to Ulaanbaatar.
In the evening, we hold the closing ceremony.

Day 10Ulaanbaatar – Airport Transfer

Flight back home.
